Michael's Story
Michael Cavallo grew up just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, with dreams that seemed within reach. After injuries cut short his senior year as a college hockey player, Michael pivoted to pursue a career in the music business. But what started as a new beginning became a 15-year battle with addiction that nearly cost him everything.
Throughout his music career, Michael struggled with the disease of addiction, narrowly escaping death multiple times. The very industry that was supposed to fulfill his dreams became the backdrop for his darkest moments. Yet sometimes, rock bottom becomes the solid foundation on which we rebuild our lives.
In 2016, Michael made the brave decision to enter treatment in New Jersey. That choice marked the beginning of a journey that continues to shape his life to this day. Guided by a desire to serve, he became a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in December 2017 and has dedicated himself to helping others through his story, music, and advocacy.

Today, Michael uses his artistry to make a real difference, inviting us all to "Take a Stand Together."
