Healing a Beautiful Mind Documentary Screening

The Healing a Beautiful Broken Mind documentary film engages our minds and emotions and invites us into the stories of those affected by the opioid crisis welcoming all into the conversation and providing resources to save lives. 

This film screening and music presentation will be held at the Parsippany Main Library and broadcast live on social media. This event is being created to raise awareness and fight the stigma that surrounds those affected by substance use disorder through real stories of hope in recovery and the vital role the expressive arts play in supporting recovery and prevention. 

This screening and performance presentation will bring together the community and the collective stories of those affected by the crisis. Through stories and songs, it will offer an experience depicting how substance use disorder affects all people. We will honor the memory of loved ones and celebrate those in recovery, showing that we are stronger than this epidemic.
